where to buy wide sheets?
Published 1 year, 8 months ago in Shopping.This is going to sound like a silly question but I need some help finding sheets. We just bought a new single bed for our daughter and now I can’t find single bed sheets to fit it. It is a normal single size but I need the sheets with the extra tuck in of 40cm as the mattress is quite thick. I’ve tried target and everywhere and their stocks only go to 33cm. Can anyone please tell me where I can buy wider sheets?

Perhaps you could try the king-size single sheets. My kids have thicker matresses too and I found these fitted better and because they don’t seem as popular I often got them marked down.
hi. I recently bought some single bed sheets from Dimmeys. the measurements are - 354cm length, 153cm wide. is that of any use to you?
Can’t remeber the name but there was a place in Smith St Collingwood/Fitzroy, on the west side, somewhere between Victoria St and Johnstone st, that sold sheets for “pillow” type mattresses or those with high sides. Don’t know if it is still there.
Thanks for your help everyone. I ended up buying a king-single size sheet and it fitted beautifully. I can’t believe they are so hard to find. Will check out Dimmeys and the other place in Collingwood.

target use to stock king size singles and often bedding shops do but they’re often a bit pricey.
Actil have sheets with the deeper length on the sides.
I have a king bed and found it hard to get sheets with large sides, Harris scarf sell 40cm sided sheets but you do have to look around, Kmart have new ones it to that are 38cm sides
